I feel this pairs well with Fog with us contemplating the liquid elements. Lol
While mine has a focus on forgiveness your’s could be seen as having fruits birthed from what reconciliation of a relationship could look like.
No greater feeling than that look of acceptance in someone’s eye!
Fellow Romantics unite! Lol

thank you for your kind words, Apollos...and yes, they could be sibling poems...

A very tender moment. What an impact a tear can have when it is genuine. Such emotion in this little piece of brevity. Could see it being played out. Just lovely.
Not having had any tender moments in my entire life (or so it seems), I'm reminded of my mom's romantic surprise when in her 80's/90's (after two abusive hubbies for 40+ years). Her 3rd hubby (married when they were both in mid-80's) -- he was finally the guy who held her when she cried instead of ridiculing her for crying. That's a reasonable standard! Love your simple measure of meaningfulness (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Expectations can turn from droplets to a nectar of pleasure, of fulfillment. The ending is marvelous in that gazing with love, you blaze with passion. Marvelous sir Jacob.
