Looking Up

cloudy,

with a chance of you

so many soulful undertones here Jacob. Even operatic in it's Allegro order. First cloudy, then rain, then you..I've been here what, 5 years and still I haven't mastered this format Great poem....dana

thank you for your kind review, dana,

Looking up and perhaps through the season’s gray clouds to feel that sunshine. Seems we’re pretty good at forecasting “weather” like this, unlike those on TV. The heart seems good at predicting such things. Good write, J.

I have to agree with Fran, raining sunshine..
What a heartfelt expression. A lovely calling card.

Kind of a roller coaster in 13 words.

That said, all you had to do was ask. I'm booking the flight.

I love the play of words. Rain opposes sun usually, yet here it offsets it beautifully. Sunshine is beautiful indeed, after days of clouds.

thank you for your very kind words, DIVYA,

This is such a heart warming little piece of brevity. What a difference a ray of hope can give on a cloudy day. Certainly puts a different perspective on many things, relationships included.
