Are you never satisfied with what you write J? You are a leader in poetry, not a follower. Born to write. Writing is your life. Never an etcetera. Oh no, never an add on.

Has the sound of a version of "the grass is greener" phenomenon, wherein the possessions or accomplishments of others are deemed superior to one's own. Ironically, the others may feel the same way about you.

thank you, John...I rarely am satisfied with what I write...just a plague for certain poets.
I believe it was in the Movie “The King and I” where Yule Brynner said, Excetra Excetra.. I found it very Sexy and so did Deborah Kerr…

Jacob - I truly feel for you. Many times, sometimes I think most times, I get the feeling that I'm only writing for myself. Perhaps gibberish is the way to go.
Take care - Dave
I think many of us can relate
to these feeling of being an
etc or an et, al to some extent
but you sir were born to write
and write you must...
.
another fine piece of work!
It seems like this is a metaphor on pieces of your life…where do you fit in… are you a joiner? Or do you want to stand out and be a leader….you refer to baby talk and etc…..and so on… nothing very unique about those words…and the last line shows it all….” In these visions of my life”….are just an etcetera? I doubt it.
Clever piece as usual J
