three times the C**k crows

three times the C**k crows

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

three times the C**k crows

I am not in denial,

just refuse to admit

that I love you,

love you

love you

nope,

won't say it

never

ever

say

I love you

love you

and if you quote me on that

I will deny

that I

love you

love you

love you.

This is a strong one. Denial! All the stories of regret and we are yet to understand the result of denial.

You're welcome J.
Oh my, this is a strong write J. Denial I do believe is a coping mechanism if we feel out of our comfort zone in a place perhaps where we feel we shouldn't be. I can only empathise here dear J.

Denial is a everyday thing if we look deeper into us. Do we accept ourselves as we are? I could have been, or I should have been always coming to our minds. We basically forget selecting between choices and regret later on. Denial gives lots of peace of mind by being in our comfort zones. Denial is not the best policy still it has its own merits. If st. Peter acknowledged the fact, he knew Jesus he might have been in trouble. Being with God himself for long time if St. Peter denies the truth for us, it may be harder. I may say Pilot was different and smart at least he tried to stick with truth but failed and he washed his hands as a symbol saying I do not hart in falsifying the truth, The wife of pilot tried for the same for advising her husband to do the right thing. I empathize with the person in the poetry for denial of truth. Thought provoking poem.

I really appreciate this review, Linda....You cannot even imagine how much.
j.
Denial never works in the end. The truth will out, one way or another. Peter didn't believe it, but when that rooster crowed the third time, he went out and wept bitterly.

thank you for your wise words, John,

Did I hear an echo? The echo of denial. If we can't bring ourselves to say it, is writing it good enough? Will the c**k crow without love? Probably. I think mine has a time or two.
