A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

taken several years ago

Pendleton clash

with October painting

a yard of foliage

overlooking a chilled pond

she was dashing

movie star sway

her eyes forever captured

within the colors

of the Kodachrome slide

journeying into the future

preserving the moment

as another leaf

floated to the ground

behind her.

Marvelous as it can be described. Kodak moments described perfectly and appreciably. A dashing beauty, forever captured and preserved in the poet's mind, heart and archive.
Whoeeeee

thank you, Julie,

A perfect description of the moment a memory was captured, leaving you with the picture as future proof of the moment it was taken.
Sounds like it is already imprinted within you, but I bet it is well checked, just to confirm the details of the mind have kept their side of the bargain 😊

A moment in time captured forever. And what a moment that was. Second stanza sets the autumn scene. The season you love most. I see painting and photograph close together. Her eyes captured forever. You are on a nostalgia trip dear J. Lovely poetry.

Dear Jacob,

This is such a beautiful painting of a moment captured in a camera. What a click that must have been! I wish I could see that picture once.. You are such an amazing poet.
