the days of daze

the days of daze

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

the days of daze

Judy crush

her desk

a note in class away from mine

her smile

a note in a song I imagined

her beauty

a memory

from a distance

a note in class away from mine

she almost knew I loved her.

Dear J. I adore the cuteness of this memory. She knew my friend. She knew. You have flown a long way back in time with this one.

I thought about it...I thought about it....
I remember those days. Writing her name on a page in a notebook that she never saw. Nice one.
