in quiet confines

I drift with my inner thoughts

as a raft afloat

Even if there is no land to look for, the raft remains afloat, steady, as it has been for an indefinite time, undisturbed and unbending. That's the image I pictured mentally. Thank you for sharing your work, author Jacob Erin-Cilberto. I wish you a nice day.

I like it. I love to just "float" along letting any and all prompts kick me into poetic gear. ~Jim

Thank you, my friend.

Drifting with inner thoughts imagining you are afloat on water is a nice way to relax. Water and quiet can be so calming for a mind that is too busy. Lovely brevity. We all need to find that quiet, peaceful place.

dear Jacob... afloat on the Waves where we reminisce about the Courage
that it took to cross the Channels that changed our Dreams... still waiting to come True. gently, Pat
