~ Dark Angel Tears

~ Dark Angel Tears

A Poem by Frieda P

I bled out through dark ashes
in attempts to heal stardust
You were floating on fluttered
     air of sea foamed ripples
My breath was stifled infinitely,
    intrinsic absence in your rhapsody
Drowning in abysmal insanity
 these depths of pensive poetry
    sworn  flourish of successful flight
Our blood mingled upon dismal wings
   henceforth glimpsing timelessness
        reverie
 of envisioned dark angel tears

This is one of your most imaginative and melodic pieces Mrs.R...you've said you're not into myths yet this one has a mythological quality to it...don't lose faith in poetry, even the pensive kind, to keep you afloat amid the insanity...life is littered with letdowns but poetry is not among them :) xo

Angels weep, I do believe that. Angels feel our grief.
As you have made this Angel feel yours, my friend...and I weep for you and with you.

Thank you Angel, I know you feel this kind of pain also, always my sweet friend.
It is almost debiltating when they leave too early...I sometimes stand at the edge of day, hoping for some reprieve. Hold me soul skyward ...begging for the trade...but only the breeze blows. Thank you Frieda this touches very personal to my own plight. There would be no light without the dark...but the dark does sting my eyes so. Mwuah!Bellissima!

I see the brush is still in your hand as you have presented yet another masterpiece for us to reead. This one is deep and dark but so filled with beauty that my eyes feel they have seen the sun in the dead of night. Very beautiful my sweet friend.

Jack, dear Jack, you always humble me with your sweet words my friend.
And only until the end did we (the readers) learn that the bleeder was a dark angel, and that the dark angel persona is exactly just that, a persona, or rather, a thought. I feel like the dark angel part is some sort of egoistic aspect, or perhaps a subconscious way of putting yourself down..

Thank you Blue, jazzed you enjoyed> :-)
I felt this so deeply. You have penned these emotions so well. When you write like this it always takes me deep into this shadow part of myself, a place of love, death, birth and renewal..or at least the belief that it's possible. Excellent write Frieda..xo

Thanks carol, hope I didn't make too much of a mess.
This can only come from your heart Frieda.. such stolen moments are bittersweet... the tears are dark and can bring you to the point of insanity...

I truly felt your words... etched beautifully!~xoxo~

All the best people are a little bit crazy ;-D xo
I like this overall but am not too sure about the third stanza. I do shudder to think what would cause a dark angel to cry though.

You'd be amazed, thanks Mark...
There is so much pain in your words these days, Frieda. I feel like this is for your sister. It is a beautiful and heartbreaking piece. Angi~
