I'm just a tin can

I'm just a tin can

A Poem by Muse

I'm just a tin can.
I'm telling you....
it was not part of my plan.
Tobacco chew,
with gum from your shoe,
caterpillars,
pencils,
left-handed scissors,
snails,
nails,
and yesterdays mail,
car keys,
bees,
the sand and the breeze,
mushy pears,
chocolate eclair,
now I hold a mint flower;
once placed in your hair.

I absolutely love this! Personally I find the creativeness sublime. What talent to take a little can that has sat in so many lives and give it voice. The can that has held the quill of the poet who with never a thought to this faitful conveyance spills the blood of their heart across paper then callously drops the spent scribe int it.

Ah the little tin can! I just love this!

I really liked the flow of this poem, very interesting and very brilliant.
I enjoyed reading this poem, it was full of raw feeling which is quite hard to find in the poetry of these days. Great job, keep up the good work!

That is truly amazing, I love the way this poem sounds it's like the life of a tin can, and you know what it's still living, I really love this kind of work it's like following something through from start of it's time to the present day... awesome stuff, please keep up writing short and fun things lol. Brilliant :D

just something short and fun are often times the real essence of who we are as scribblers.. the simplicity of this is genius.. just like the pose in your picture.. its simply gorgeous and breath taking.. a whole life, in a dented recepticle of sorrow, bad, and canned good..

I love when people write about things that would go unnoticed to so manyand this bio of a can is exceptionally clever and well done. I really should open my eyes more, shouldn't I?

Mother of God woman, when you wanna make a point you do it with a saber.

Another words, nice point, form, wrist action and striking blow.
