The Silence

The Silence

A Chapter by Kay

The Silence

It's a terrible burden

It consumes you

Takes over you

The Silence

Softens you

Makes you volnerable

Then casts you out on a line like fresh bait

The Silence

I'm tired of it

When I try to speak...

I stops me

My mind speaks faster than my mouth

Mind is sometimes louder

Mind is sometimes more outspoken

But, The Silence

It's my outer shell

It blocks whats inside

The Silence

I can never be fully cured

So for now

I will suffer

Excellent poem. You are not silent. Your written words speak so eloquently for you. I hope you find your other voice someday because you have a lot to say.
