Shattered

You have more power than you think 

You have enough power to give me life, and death 

Heaven, and hell 

But you used your power to favor the devil

You built me up just to tear me down 

You said you loved me 

You said you'd never leave even if the sky was falling down 

But 

Then 

You broke me 

You shattered me like a worthless piece of glass 

Shattered 

You shattered my delicate China heart with your disappointment 

You shattered me with everything 

Everything 

As my glass laid broken on the rug 

You never bothered to clean it up 

Then again 

Why would you 

Cruelty leaves the broken to clean up themselves
