A Chapter by Krissy

During the night she began getting restless, shaking from side to side I could feel fear radiating off her body some much like her human heat.

I watched as her small face winced in terror. Afraid to wake her but afraid of what may be going on behind her closed eyes.

She shuddered and woke with a start. Looking at me franticly, she began to relax as I sent her calm waves. I don’t know how but she knew it was me doing it.

“Thank you,” She whispered.

I smiled and whispered quieter than a human into her ear, “your welcome.”

She relaxed for a short moment before I asked. “What was your dream about?”

She looked at me slowly. “I didn’t understand much,” She whispered. “But red
eyes were watching me”

I felt myself stiffen beside her.

She whispered quietly. “They seemed… hungry.”
