The Girl

The Girl

A Poem by Mary Jo. Clare
"

This poem is about a severely depressed girl and a summary of a life she once lived. Please allow yourself to relate to this poem. Enjoy!

"
She wiped her pillow with flowing tears,
As her endurance of pain began to disappear,
That came from the burden she was cursed to bear,
As she walked neglected from everyone's care.
Observing everyone's happiness,
Drove her sanity to madness.
Unable to recognize the body she once loved,
She prayed to the Angel of Death from above.

A life filled with despair, I could see her but just like real life I could not reach her.

A powerful ending
