Silence

Shhh....be Silent

Silence is but a sound so few can ignore 

Your silence, my silence, our silence 

Speaks volumes yet there is pain in nothing

Your mouth is open and nothing is coming out 

Like music it can transcend through time 

Silence can scream, shout, and echo

It can cut like a sword through the heart 

Without even saying a word 

Silence is but a sound so few can't ignore 

Your silence, my silence, our silence 

Silence is everywhere ever so loud 

It starts to be the only thing you can hear

All consuming silence starts to eat at your soul 

The more and more it enters the darker you become

Eventually silence will win and you will become silenced 

Not a whisper in the wind, not a faint sound in the back

You will become your silence unable to return 

It tortures you until your weak 

It sees you struggle but you can't see it 

Only you can break the silence

This is - quite different from your regular writing, Amanda. I am =MOST= impressed !

As with me ? There is no silence. I hear voices, things beyond the walls, and even in pitch, I hear the deep ringing sound within my ears, or the thumping of my heart like a bass drum. I have very sensitive hearing so - there is no such a thing as silence for me.
