Accidents Happen

Somethings just happen. Sometimes we can control it, sometimes not.

We get in car accidents,

Or break an arm or leg.

Accidents happen.

Hearts are broken,

Friendships torn apart.

Accidents happen.

We can't always control this,

They just occur.

Accidents happen.

I pray for the ones who have lost

The ones they love.

I pray for the ones who are struggling

Through health and relationships.

Accidents happen.

We can't always control this.

Author's Note

I don't know if this is very good, but I know some people who are getting in accidents and hurting themselves. So I wanted to write this for them.

This is an interesting poem. Your sound sincere and genuine through it.

I think this poem might be better without punctuation. Rare, I know, but I think it would give a more open and fluid interpretation to the poem.

"We can't always control this"I think the this feels weird. It's saying we can't control the phenomenon or the proposition, but I think this "it" or "them" would be a better fit.

This is a pretty good poem otherwise. Great job.

Its sad but true, car accidents happen way to often! I got in one and it really upset a freind of mine, so since then I drive live a old person... really slow..lol Great write its very true
