Sexting and Cyber bullies

Sexting and Cyber bullies

A Poem by Alexis L. Thompson

Pictures of her
sent to a boy.
she believed it was love
but it lead to no joy.

He shared with his friends
The photos at school.
Soon they were viral.
She felt like a fool.

She checks her facebook
just to find smut.
What used to be friends
now call her a s**t.

She goes to her room
and cries herself dry.
She has this feeling
of wanting to die.

She drowns herself
with a bottle of pills.
she is sad, she is hurt.
In her lungs water fills.

Sexting is wrong.
cyberbullying too.
Watch what you post.
Watch what you do.

this is something that way too many young teenagers are facing!

this poem should be shared on every website in every teen magazine!!

but it isn't always the guy whos the dick and sending them around..my ex best friend...yes the same one who i wrote my poems about... :/ she was and is the biggest guy in the fact that she does this to guys!! she gets them to send her photos of whats in their pants then shows everyone and they all start mocking the guys on size! i think she deserves a smack on the face so should every guy or girl who has ever done such a thing!!!!!!!! what gives them the right to expose someone elses privacy??

first thing is that this is a really good piece! good job. :) second thing is yeah guys watch what you do and send to people. guys dont be showing everyone you dick and and girls get some respect, dont be sending some random guy or even girl( don't matter which) naked or even half naked pics of your self, whether you just met them or not. 3rd thing is watch what you post, it will hurt someone if you call them a name. again good job n the poem, i hope the message gets out there that sexting and cyber bullying is wrong. thank you for making this seen in a very great a creative poem.

A lot of girls go through this. Some guys are just losers. It's a good thing you wrote this poem. Spread this around and open people's eyes!

Very true. Great message. Ans yes, SuicidePact, many of us young teenagers are facing this and it needs to stop. Bullying has killed some and it's not right for people to take a life because they feel it's the only way out.
There was a boy at a another school that a lot of people knew and a few of us at my school knew him, too. He took his life and we all thought it would never happen. He was a joy and so kind. He posted on his Facebook before he died and it was really sad. Then he took his life. All who knew him miss him dearly and will never forget that it happens to everyone and it should happen to young childs like us. Do we not have the right to be LOVED?

Many people and teenagers don't understand the concept of this so I thank you for writing it, and it is sad that girls should have to go through that. To be fooled and then humiliated later. There were many suicides and deaths because of this and it's important to let people know how exactly dangerous it can be. Good write, I really liked it! :)
