A Poem by Poetic Beauty

Men are beautiful

Creatures

That live by

Their own code

What are those

Codes?

Don’t ask me

I am still

Sifting through

The encryptions

At the age of 33

Is s for sex ?

Or is it the number

69?

Is L of love

Or is it the number 2?

Shakes my head

I am still so

Confused

Is d for devotion

Or is it the infinity symbol?

Oh wait

Is that a figure 8?

This definitely

isn't your

grandpa's Morris code

I have given

Up trying to figure

It all out

It makes me

Want to pull

My hair

Throw a tantrum

And pout.

I will leave

You to

Decipher

The code

I would rather

Let it all

Simply flow.

This is unique and something different from what I have been reading lately. And I like it. Though male-centric, I think the idea of endless attempts to figure out the opposite sex is common to all of us. The brains are hard-wired in a completely different manner but sometimes, that's the beauty of it.

Well penned. And I like the ending, because I have given up as well. :P

Women are from Venus, men....ah, you know the rest. Rings true. Love the humor in your piece, kinda makes me laugh at the entire human race. We all know so much, and yet, we can't figure ourselves out and co-exist. Lovely write!

admiring the motive characterized by quick and inventive verbal humor,
creates a reeling, lighthearted sensation, you've pegged us perfectly.
encryptions cannot be easily understood by unauthorized people,
yet women have the ability to convert a guy's encrypted data back into
its original form, so it can be understood. this is funny, loved it ^_^

As men are confused by the womans code..!. All women are different so even the concept of a woman's code is wrong,.... and the way men compartmentalize...dont even get Me started...

This is unique love, I think you did well to give it such an original presentation, gender aside, I don't think we shall ever understand what makes us all tick lol

This was highly original to me! I felt like I was reading a very old computer, with a secret message from humans living on Mars, that had been since the Soviets were great way back when!

The code of life, what is it, but the number 108.

Firstly, the colors make this a little difficult of a read. I had to highlight everything just to read it.

Secondly, men as well as women are both difficult creatures to understand. I suppose with our different genders - we have different views of the world and what we want out of it when it comes to love. That leaves us almost like investigators trying to figure out each other. Love is a confusing, sometimes dangerous game to play. No one will ever do a study on this subject and figure it out, no one will ever find the answer. But we eventually learn to move on and continue with life.

A creative and well-written write. Nicely done.
