Wingless Angel

Wingless Angel

A Poem by Poetic Beauty
"

A dedication to my mother who through it all has been by my side teaching me and guiding me in the right direction. The one who loves me for all my faults and give me the strength and knowledge.

"

She is the figure

That give light

On ominous days

Evaporating the

Drowning moments

When all seems be

Weighing down

With words of wisdom

Giving strength when

When the world

Seems to be battling against me

Handing me the sword

The tool to fight

Keeping enemies at bay

Standing at my side

With love in her heart

And shining with

Outstanding light

Her arms are loving

With a strong

But warm embrace

She lends me her knowledge

Of how to pick up

Achieving those

Forgotten dreams

Never giving in

When the vines threaten

To strangle out

The oxygen filled air

Her stubbornness

Not a weakness

But a tool that

Allows difficult

Trials be over turned

And dreams achieved.

Her wings are hidden

Deep beneath

Her layers of skin

The spread wide

Across her generous heart

Enveloping me with

Strength and compassion

Helping me to grow

She is my wingless angel

My teacher on this earth

The one that loves me

When it seems

The world does not

Her wings may not

Be visible to

The naked eye

But within her skin

Hidden beneath

Are the most

Magnificent feathered

Wings

She is my wingless angel

My defender of what is right

Holding her head high

With a smile on her face

She is my mother

With her own style

And delicate grace.

The wings are there, seen with the third eye they spread to envelop you when life threatens, or lift you when your wings are weary. Such a heartfelt and joyous celebration of the mother who nurtured your spirit. I lift her up in prayer, That she regains her vibrancy and health to soar once again.

A beautiful poem for your mother. We need to be thankful for our kind mother's who work hard and have great concern for us. I like the kind description and the positive ending. Thank you for the outstanding poem for your mother.

Don't be afraid because I know you know that your mother is strong, that he will never give up in times of extreme agony.

A very wonderful and loving tribute to your mother. Passing on her love, strengths and compassion to the next generation shows how wonderful she is deep inside where her heart and soul are.

I sure hope she gets better.

That is a beautiful tribute to your mother... I lost mine a few years ago and know that we need to appreciate them before it is too late and there i no doubt that you do.

From strictly a writer to writer P.o.V: It seemed very choppy and there were some lines that seemed to be missing a word or two. For example, "Allows difficult trials be overturned." I'm not sure if this was on purpose or not. A bit confusing without punctuation, but nice comparisons.
From one person to another: Bless your family. It's sweet that you're thinking of her in her time of need, and I pray everything goes well. Stay strong.

I can relate to this one because I am going through the same thing with my father. I can't help but worry about him. A beautiful piece.
