Spring Me

Spring Me

A Poem by Einstein Noodle

baby blue softly folded into
cotton  clouds
bourbon drenched
sugar cubes torched by
body warmed winds

would you come with me?

buds of promise firm
supple stems move as
spring waters over
rocks jagged
translucent film
suspends us

join me

dancing flitting flirting fireflies
cheeky kisses of faeries
thousands of them raspberry buzzings
flushed with hungry root
everything we need,
everything we want is
down below.

we break the rocks,
bind the spells,
take the gems

growing together you and i
entwining vines

reaching.

Love it, love it, love it E.! “Spring Me” too- right now! Delightfully spring-y, lyrical, vital, sensuous and alogether ‘ ‘happy-fying’ poem...eloquent language and colorfully fresh imagery jumps off the page and double- entendres tickle the senses. “Entwining vines..reaching”- ahhhh yes... Splendid write.

Love the way spring unfolds bringing colour into our eyes.
But there's an underlying spring also running through this poem.
There love in the air, unconquerable love, the special kind.

You are very welcome.
though I'm not in the exact mood of reading and reviewing but I couldn't miss this ethereal diamond from You, my sensitive friend Mr. E, it's the second time I see/feel how You do reflect many of my thoughts, write them in a way I adore and want them to be... like the last lines... what a way to say "making love"...

through Your words, at some points I wanted to cry... though this might be a love poem, but I became a little girl again reading through them... floating like a cloud, my spirit free and gentle, there is sheer pureness, sheer gentleness that kind that touches to hurts our hearts with its beauty, I think You understand me well enough in my words, Your heart is glowing here like the most beautiful flower, with golden ribbons drifting through the breeze over our senses, but still deep down it carries a wound... a bittersweet wound... there is a child somewhere yearning to fly, there is a need of warmth care, and tenderness... do I even have to say it, another MOST favorite to me...thank You my gentlest friend for such spiritual treat.

Goodness, Gene!
Talk about springtime exuberance … you've released all the joy and happiness Spring brings to our hearts, souls, and atmosphere around the globe -- I can feel it's full infection dancing up off the page, out of every line.
Fraught with imagery and metaphor in rare originality, I love-love-love the alliteration, too: baby blue, cotton clouds, warmed winds, flitting flirting fireflies, and the crafty sibilance of supple stems, spring, suspends.
Sheer poetic genius highlights and shines throughout every verse of this amazingly rendered piece … to me, one of, if not the, best of your excellent efforts.
Then, the picture and music pull one irresistibly into the ambiance of your created moment … sheesh, Gene, seems I'm so jubilant I could sing praises over this one forever … LOL!

Thanks for making my day brightly filled with Nature's springtime wonders! ⁓ Richard : )

psst! L3, add the "o" to "bourbon" … LOL!

You clever devil! A poem with imagery unlimited. Of course, this is quite an innocent poem about the joy of springtime....I think. Then I read it again and it can have delightfully sensual undertones. Not sure if that is just me....but in any case, I thoroughly enjoyed the poem! Lydi**

Lovely memories!
dear E... I will never look at our Rappahannock River the same again. White water flowing over rocks breaking the sensuous flow of passion into a rendevouz of splendor. Spring is rapidly singing a song of wild geese flying... landing on the peaceful serene water of love... truly, Pat
