chapter 3

she sees the town

The carriage stops and everyone is existed when Ruth opens the door she see a small town with no many people or houses. Ruth jumps out of the carriage and runs up to their new house it’s an old wooden house with a wooden fence. When Ruth looked back at the other girls the faces where filled with disbelieve. “This is our new home, so girls what do you think?” says Ruth’s father

“Beautiful I love it” Ruth yells spinning around “Vera come, let’s look around.” Ruth runs to the house and opens up the door and sees the room filled with animal skins Ruth’s smile has disappeared now. She walks out the back and see there yard, but that’s not all she sees there is a wolf the half the size of the small tree. She walks towards it, but it runs when it hears her father.

“Papa, are there wolves around here” she asks

“Yes so be careful,” says her father

“I going to look around town papa” she explains to her father. He knobs his head and she runs outside with her dog still worried about the wolf. All of the town’s people are watching her as she just wanders around town. Too busy looking around town she bumps into someone “sorry” Ruth says to someone about 20years old.

“No I should be the one saying sorry” he said looking at her “Hey would you like to go wolf hunting with me?”
