So Very Strange

So Very Strange

A Poem by Wondering Mind

This is a previous version of So Very Strange.

We’re very strange, indeed.
We solve debt with more debt,
                     we want Peace from War,
                         and solve hunger with greed.
   So very strange, indeed

I think this is great. It's not too long, but it gets the point across very, very well. My favorite line was "we wage wars while parading Peace"
This is a great write!

Stark reality. The way of the world. Why, I wonder, upon seeing in black and white, the truth has so much more power to turn the stomach.

Strange indeed, my friend. I must always try to keep in mind that the people are not the "government." Even here.

You certainly have summed up our current "state of affairs".....borrow more to pay debt, take more to pay debt, make war to bring peace, and if we weren't so greedy, we would certainly have less hungry people......well stated!
