Your Day

Your Day

A Poem by Willard Wells
"

Daily Thanks

"

Open your heart each morning

As you give thanks

Hug your loved ones at least once

You never know when will be the last day

True words Willard. This applies in case of my grandparents. I make it a point to hug them and talk to them as much as possible. Loved it :)

So true Willard. My only suggestion is to cut the repetition of the word "day". Its really not needed at every line. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Jan.

You crack me up Willard!
A such truth in this poem Willard, thats why I always hug and kiss my grandmother and my mom every day, as I'm growing, they're growing old too.
I really like this one Willard, it has a happy feeling in it.

I pondered if 'day' was overused here Will, as I read.
When I got the the phrase '...the last day" I saw the technique you had employed.
Its clever. - could have been 7 days if you were to extend it and still have worked.
Its very memorable as it stands. Kudos my friend.
