True words Willard. This applies in case of my grandparents. I make it a point to hug them and talk to them as much as possible. Loved it :)

Chirag, thank you for your reading my work and commenting. We all have people in our lives that we must stay close to and listen to there words. A hug, a smile, a laugh and a few minutes spent bringing a smile to someones face does not cost you anything but a little time.

I have looked at that change as someone else suggested it. So far I have not found other words that I felt gave it the flow and thought I wanted from it. But always looking. Thanks for the read and comments.

A such truth in this poem Willard, thats why I always hug and kiss my grandmother and my mom every day, as I'm growing, they're growing old too.

I pondered if 'day' was overused here Will, as I read.
When I got the the phrase '...the last day" I saw the technique you had employed.
Its clever. - could have been 7 days if you were to extend it and still have worked.
Its very memorable as it stands. Kudos my friend.

I had the same thought when done, but left it as is. I appreciate the term technique, but most of my work is seat of the pants and luck. My technique seems to be more throwing words at paper and see if it sticks. Thanks for reading and commenting.
