Your Touch

Your Touch

A Chapter by Dr. YumnaKay
"

Fictional.

"
Just when I had finally decided to let you go, you came back right in. Barging through the almost closed doors of my heart! You made sure they weren't closed until you were through them.

And here you are, I'm just too tired to make a move. Too tired to say anything. But there again, it seems you don't need any prompting.

Oh, how my heart races when my eyes meet yours! And although I'm a fool, I can't help but make myself believe that this time.. this time you've finally returned, never to leave again.

Your hands touch mine. You're giving me this shy, bring it on kind of smile and I try not to appear much bothered about it. Why? Because, eventually, I know where we'll end up tonight. ..

You're trying so hard not to rush things but at the same time, you're doing what you've always made me feel. Oh, this feels hot as hell! What with your fingers running along in circles over my palm ..

Damn, I can't think straight! This is too much to bear. As you grab me by the waist, I'm rediscovering your touch. I don't want you to stop and it feels as if you aren't going to.

It's going to be a long night.

I hope we remember from where we'd left.

This is more like a whispered telling than a piece of writing.. There are errors a speaker makes, there are pauses and repeats.. natural when emotional. And, all the while there's this voice, one's own, guiding the thoughts into action. Tis a passionate finish.. again, more than mere words. t

Oh no lol this is another piece of fiction and imagination 😉😛
It feels like I'm reading you journal. I'm usually into poetry because it makes you feel something. Though this doesn't rhyme I can still imagine what you felt and I've gone thru something just like it. Good work.

Powerful confessions of the soul and skin, of love's intoxicating flames. In the music of your heartbeat there is that rushing pulse of light that burns off all darkness and fills the night with fire. One can feel the absolute ecstasy flooding your imagination's kingdom in anticipation. I believe even the sunrise will be blushing when all is awakened.

Very smooth write, quite lyrical qualities here. Very RnB'sy feel, by way of your word choice. Those 'pasts' always walk the line that borders our lives. Great pour. R xo

A lovely one, smooth, soft and exciting.

How they walk back so gently in our lives at times, reviving the things we wanted to forget. And still, could never really rid ourselves of and we surrender again to them, to the bits of hope instilled in us.

Makes me think if Frank Ocean's "Never go back to something that hurt
you" is rigid and stubborn or just way too radical for the frequent dreamers..
But never second chances and new beginnings seem so merciless..

I enjoyed reading this. Very nice.
