Sleep tight my angel

A very simple poem dedicated to my little peanut

Let the wind carry you my beautiful angel, wings of gold

oh how I long to hold you

Wondering how I fell so deeply for you, the memories I was going to have with you

When all is silent I hear your cry far above the nights sky my arms are yearning, my arms open wide

My heart suffocating

I live for that day I’ll see your face, hand in hand we’ll stroll

For god decided he needed you, maybe he’ll tell me why, he promised me he’ll keep you safe until I arrive but for now it’s sleep tight my angel so bright
