I wrote this when I finally bought my own place after years of renting....

I lost my grandma in 1987 but I still find myself dreaming about her sometimes and miss her all over again....

I was listening to a Phil Collins song about the homeless and this came out of it what I felt....

Being a teenager was a confusing time for me particularly as I was bullied a lot for being 'different'....

Sting's music inspired this...it is also published in a Forward Press Southern Anthology 2008....

I am more used to it now but at one time I didn't like being on my own...

I wrote this whilst Princess Diana was still alive; it became even more poignant when she died...

I was sitting in a church observing a candle burning and I thought of this...

It was a week when all the world seemed in chaos and I needed an outlet to what I felt...

There is a small park near where I live and every year I know winter is over when the daffodils start to surface...
