It all depends on one's perception of what freedom is to them. I myself feel like no man's life is truly free. Yet, life is still considered the greatest gift of all. We're restrained with the bonds of society. We all follow rules that take some amount of our freedom away. Unless one decides to remove themselves from this life, we will always be a slave to one thing or another. Whether it be greed, lust, power, or corruption. A servant to something. If it be our own desires or someone else's. It's the thought, the purpose, the challenge, the need that drives us all forward. Only after death is a man's body and mind free from this earth. Will one's spirit be considered free in the after life as well, who knows?
