Day 4: Chillin' With My Bro 2/15/13

Well the day I wrote this one I was hanging with my bestie all day so I guess this is to you, bro!

It's always nice to be with someone you trust,

To talk until the day is long gone, 

A new story in every moment is a must,

For seven years now nothing has changed either one.

To sit on  the floor and cradle that heart,

It's a promising thing even though we are different,

Like night and day but made by the same art,

One rests while the other helps it shine, delightfully fervent.

A kiss of death upon ones chest,

A shy sun glowing in the others eye,

There is nothing more to appreciate except the rest,

Together there is never a lie.

A bond never softened even in the erosion of rain, 

Erosion is a natural pain.

That line really stood out for me. It sounds like you're referring to an older brother and if so, I really like how you went about describing the age difference. And even with this and whatever other differences you two might have as siblings, the differences are all somewhat complementary and irrelevant as your bond is so deeply tied.

Haha! It's actually to my bestie who is a girl XD But we call each other bro a lot lately, we're practically are like sisters, she's like the older sibling that helps guide me and has always been there for me :3

For those lines I was trying to think of something that describes how different we are from one another. My bestie is very dark, she has a fascination (since before I met her)) with horror, and death, and just wierd things (she loves tim burton!) and she's very straight forward and brutally honesy; complete opposite of me almost XD. im like her with the dark things, but i'm more...bubbly I guess @_@ and shy XD "the differences are all somewhat complementary and irrelevant as your bond is so deeply tied," the best way to describe it :)
