Are we crazy the people of this world?

Are we crazy the people of this world?

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

I worry for the children. What will be left?

"
Are we crazy the people of this world?

I pray a prayer to the spirit of life and death.
Please sent wisdom to the leaders of this world.

We bludgeon our planet.

Who will pay the price for our greed?

Our water is being choke to death by oil spills.
The sea life will die without a cry or outrage by no-one.

    (Oil fires in Iraq)

War is killing people daily.
Killing for religion and oil.
A eye for a eye.
No-one will win.
We will just all be dead.
                  (Death valley, Iraq)

Soldiers are dying for oil and rich men.
I pray these b******s making money off war.
Pay their debt in hell forever.

The world can be beautiful.
We must stop the hatred.
Men of peace must come to the front.
The leaders need to talk of peace.

(My friend Don with his children and my daughter. He was  killed in Iraq in August 2004.)

If we keep going in the direction of hate and War.
What will we leave for the children of this world?

We must get angry and demand the wars to stop everywhere.
We must protect the water and earth.

If we stand bye and do nothing.
We are as guilty as the leaders who want more blood.

... brilliantly written and brilliantly presented ... these are relevant and rampant issues ... aggravated by ulterior motives ... the first step is to talk about it fearlessly and you've done that remarkably ... thank you for writing this and sharing this ... (highest rating) ...

love this so much coyote very poignant and this definitely needed to be said glad you have the courage to write it regardless of what anyone thinks for it is all true of which you write!!!! i was so sad to hear of your friends death and the poor children he left behind. Man's greed is the root of all evil. the rich wantto get richer while the poor get poorer and they dont care really and its so sad.

I think people are crazy because we kept on doing the same destructive things, over and over and over again. It's called greed, human kinds most ruling emotion. Sad. Very very sad.

I absolutely love this poem. It is so powerful the pictures just add to the poems strength. There were a couple of typos and if you fixed them it would add more to the poem and get your meaning across faster and better. I definitely agree whole heartedly. this world is suffering form human greed and whether people realize it or not it affects all of us negatively. Great job.
with love,
Tallulah

really amazing write. my father is in the military, but has never had to fight in the war, but all of us have been fighting as our family members and friends go off and die or live through tramatic events. Peace is needed soon. The chaos and people intollerable of others have ruled enough. Th epictures severely add to the work... the horrible images just adding to the over all impact. A few tense problems or words that might do bette rplural but it didn't distract me too much. I'm just a wee bit ocd.

If all people were poets, it would be beautiful, even the dark.
For Don and his family, and all others fighting or lost,
it seems like the perfect writing to get the message across.

Nicely stated, greatly said.
One of my favorites!

and hopefully If I have to go there,
it will have already improved by the
time of my enlisting(:
