Dancing Luminaries

Dancing Luminaries

A Poem by Cherrie Palmer

Dancing till daybreak, with Aurora in stride.

Ascending sun is Maria's breath.

That gentle breeze freeing my wishes.

Waning stars hold their places.

While the wards of heaven waltz across my fanciful fancies .

With moonbeams dazzling the luminaries.

I reach for the stars.

Very nice, Cherrie P. I like "Ascending sun is Maria's breath". Made me want to break out in song.

Thank you and good morning.
Gorgeous... the feelings You brought through your words are serene. the expressions are not only beautiful but they dive into a more deeper level of self. the first three lines are my favorites, they caught my heart with their ethereal and spiritual quality. something totally to my taste.

Thank you Light. Birds of a feather. So to speak:)
We aren't even through Spring yet and you are writing about the 4th of July. That's what fizzling stars made me think of. Autocorrect changed fizzling to guzzling. And the dazzling luminaries. Now you have to watch that movie. This poem is in it. It was amazing and now I read this poem. I'm tellin' you....

I know sometimes when I make up words auto correct fights me.
Very pretty, I always reach for what I can’t touch! But I’m five feet tall so that’s about everything;) nicely written!

Thank you Patricia 😊

what an inspiration ...

I have travelled far and wide to see them for myself .. and on occasion, have missed them by only minutes .. your words this eve have served to re-whet my appetite and continue my quest until my objective has been achieved ..

thank you Cherrie P .....................Neville
