Julie (translation below)

Julie (translation below)

A Poem by 外人 (Gaijin)
"

A little Parisian love story that came to my mind, hope you like it :)

"
Tienimi la mano
e portami lontano,

TRANSLATION
Title: Julie

Take my hand
and bring me far away,
in this magic parisian night
while rain kisses us
with its wet touch

sweetly, you bring me to Ile de cité,
you show me the best of Paris and of you,
lying down, your hair sit on my neck,
great sensation of fullness, I'll never be again

Alone/only one name is written in my heart
red roses melody for the ones who heard it,
only touch can overwhelm hearing,
with the passionate kiss of the one that tells me she love me.

And you, Paris, be witness
of this oarth of everlasting love.
Il y a une chouse que je ne t'ai jamais dite:
avec tout mon coeur, je t'aime, Julie.

The last two verses are in French, they mean:
"There's a thing I've never told you:
with all my heart, I love you, Julie".

Author's Note

外人 (Gaijin)
Ok, so there are two enjambements (you have to read them as linked to the verse where they are AND the verse that came before, you'll get two different meanings this way, that's the point), the first is "sweetly" at the beginning of the second stanza, and "alone/only" at the beginning of the third, it has a / because in Italian the word "solo" means both of the words but in English I had to use the two words to make the enjembement make sense :(

Its very sweet an romantic. I, myself being French much enjoyed reading it in a different language. It's quite well written. An I look forward to reading more work from you. Excellent job with the translation also. Aussi, j'espere que vous ecrivez plus de poesie en francais.

"with its wet touch" rain is wet... so that is kind of redundant? Instead of a textile adjective, use an auditory one? Combine the senses--synesthesia!!!
