Love At First Sight

"Jack, this is Iris, Iris, Jack" My heart was boiling faster than ever, she was perfect in all ways and I almost couldn't take my eyes off her. "Sit...." Her calm soothing voice spoke for the first time. Me and Austin at down at the table, and girls was starting to surround us while we talked about Saturday. "So, Saturday is okay right?" she spoke but never made eye contact with me,

"Saturday's fine with me" Austin smiled,

"How about you Jack?" Iris's eyes met mines

"Oh, Umm, y-yea, Saturday's perfect for me" I tried to avoid looking at her. After talking for the whole lunch time me and Austin walked back to class with a bunch of people behind us. Their so cute, was starting to get annoying from all the chatter about me and Austin, the second we reached the class room I sat down at my seat, and again stared outside. The sky was starting to turn gray, the clouds turned dark and small rain drops came down.

Bell Rings. School was over, me and Austin walked to the front of the school and waited for the rain to clear a bit, we didn't bring umbrellas because we aren't the people to watch the news. "Austin?" Iris came from behind,

"Oh, hey Iris" Austin replied

"Why are you two still here?" 

"Well..." Austin laughed "You see, we didn't bring umbrellas so we're gonna wait till it clears a bit" Austin scratched his head a bit and i stared at her small slim fingers.

"Yea, you should go first, we don't want to make you wait" I flashed a small smile, I can see her face turn a bit red, my face also started to heat up. 

"Well I always bring a extra umbrella...Do you two want to share??" She suggested and stared at both of us.

 

Austin and I shared a umbrella and it felt uncomfortable, the three of us kept walking and walking and we didn't even remember that we were walking with each other. I sighed and Austin elbowed me "Did we past your house??" He reached his hand out, I shook my head "by the way, Iris and I live on the same block, which is that way" He pointed left, 

"I...live on that block also" I was surprised, we were close to Iris's house and she went in "We'll return your umbrella to you tomorrow" I smiled at her "Thanks" Austin and I went on, "This is my house" I pointed to a red bricked house "see ya" We did a small made up hand shake and I went into my house. I looked to my left and Iris was standing there looking at me, I waved at her and she stared down and waved back, I turned around and went inside.
