Before all is painted white (Autumn)A Poem by GeeBreak out the winter woolies folks, she's a comin'
The fading light from wearied sun
silhouettes the gathered throng, upon their terracotta perch in silence, without song. For they can feel the seasons change the chill of autumns breath, see flowers wilt, trees ablaze such magnificence in death. Then before all colour painted white, before winters bell it chimes, as one on wing they'll take their leave and head to warmer climes. © 2020 GeeReviews
