Day 19 (not much later): 
I see her! Annie is on a craft called Cinnamon Rush. Also a lovely name, but not as lovely as Annie’s. I waved at her; she smiled and called out my name. But then I realized how foolish it was to suppose that Annie, let alone my Annie, would be on a ship, any ship, sailing for the north when I was heading for the south; so I grimaced and looked away. We saw each other for a short amount of time, the girl and I, and then we parted. But how odd, I thought later, that she would know my name...? But, then again, I am the prince.

I enjoyed the free flow of this story..it is interesting that several words are utilized repetitively without that sense of repetition..I felt as though I were observing the passing of the ships from your ship..somewhere I sensed
Annie was a part of the other character..
well done.
