A Poem by KWP

to know when is enough, to walk
away unguarded, to know you must
face the pain of empty tomorrows

don't you dare look back

up ahead
it's you!
chasing rainbows filled with
new promise

don't you dare look back

I love poems where the content is more than the number of words the poet uses. Your words allow any interpretation. I have read your work several times to understand it more fully. Greetings!

this could be talking about changing careers, leaving relationships...
no time or room for regrets...concentrate on what is ahead...
