Fruitacious frivolity

Fruitacious frivolity

A Chapter by Moonie
"

~just a scribble~

"
Dripping maple sap,
the tenebrous trees trap-
Golden gelatinous gin.
In fruity flagons, like hazel ink,
they store their tipsy drink,
making the boundary's red robe
stretch into a globulous globe
Like a barrel of heady ale-
A swollen drop of great detail.
Impregnated with wondrous wines,
Down it descends like dropped dimes.

The title made me smile, as one who adores frivolity of any kind. And then, you had me at dripping maple sap, which I pour over my waffles nearly every morning. The real stuff. Oh, so enchanted, every line alive with music and movement, the wonders of life being poured out drop by divine drop.

I solemnly swear I won't ask you the reason! :))
Although, I am glad it made you laugh. :)
Nicely penned, I enjoyed each sneaky alliteration more than the last, you should have 'just a scribble' more often.
