Bumblebee

Bumblebee

A Poem by Patricia Wedel
"

Sweet nectar where rain falls silently...

"
The Art of Giving is in the buds of Lavender where

Bumblebees and Hummingbirds work together side by side

sipping nectar for pollinating fruits and vegetables to

sustain the babies and families to obtain a resistance to

colds and unknown strains of Corona Virus...

Asparagus is gathered in bunches to steam and serve with

buttered carrots in cream and home-made bread warm from the Oven...

Female goats roam on grassy knolls and consent to provide milk for cheese

when Winter sets in and Summers Harvest is stored for soups and sauces with

tender herbs... Parsnips are added for a unique flavor to enhance casseroles

and scalloped potatoes .  Bon appetite !

A beautiful poem on the bounties of nature and all the love that God has bestowed upon us. There's everything we need nutritionally, medicinally, emotionally and so much more. We do not want for anything. Loved this read, Ms. Pat!

Ohhh Pat, how could you, do such a thing. am near to dribbling, hand me a bib!

Your poem is not only beautifully written, but is food for eyes and mind! Every phrase reminds us of the goodness of fresh food, of family health, of eating the best that home. made/home-grown and natural food does for people, old and young. To go into the garden and pick own veggies, pick fruit.. or smell bread cooking in oven and know that soon the house will smell better than any perfumerie is ~ magical,

By the way. thamd you for mentioning bumblebees, we must, must protect them..Thank you for sharing such a delicious post. Keep safe, happy and more, dear lady. xx

Eating well, fresh fruit and veg from the garden. Cooked in the kitchen to ensure we are all getting good nutrition in case we fall ill. I love this time of year when it comes to food Pat. I frequently make soup. Broccoli and stilton, carrot and coriander and mushroom are favourites with my family. Nothing like it to help warm them up. Served with home made crusty bread. So yummy Pat. Your words are, a feast in poetic expression.

So sweet of you....
Pat, you are a child of nature and your poetry always reflects that. The tastes of fresh grown fruits and vegetables are on my mind now.....and the fact that organic foods are healthy for us all. If only one of them would cure the coronavirus! Lydi**

According to the Almanac... this year is perfect

for planting under a Full Moon... where Coyote pray for

a brighter day... and Wolves sleep in hidden Caves... until

the tenth of May. Beware of Spring Fever... and St. Patrick.
