During the weekend, all it did was rain and rain, no sun showed, not one flower was noticed able, and it was very gloomy. Elise did nothing but write in her journal. She wrote a sad poem called:
One Night Gone, A Day Not Seen.
Hail blows deep in the wind
It cuts the skin deep without a care and yet the world cries of pain but not one will stay and care, instead just leaves the pain there. It doesn’t matter who it is but the hurt will still stay wherever you go.
But before she put it away her mother came in crying but then she cursed at Elise then thrashing her fists at her like a punching bag! Elise tried to scream but no sound came out except a low hoarse whimper of help… When it all stopped Elise woke up with a black eye, a little limp in her leg, tons of bruises on her arms and legs and one sore heart that belonged to her… Her mother came in once more just to laugh at her daughter’s shame, misery, depression and broken heart. She left two minutes after laughing and harassing her.
