Chapter 5

(Morning)

Noble and Athena are still sleeping and Noble is still inside of Athena while she’s wrapped in his arms.

He wakes up moments later, takes a deep breath, pulls himself out of her then kisses her cheek and gets out of the bed.

He then walks towards the closet in the room to grab a pair of clothes. He grabs a T-shirt, a pair of boxers, socks and a pair of pants.

He then walks out of the room and finds his boots.

He puts everything on and grabs his leg holster, puts it on then grabs him M4A1.

He walks into the room Artemis, Minerva and Juno are sharing to check in on them. He sees
their still sleeping.

Noble starts to have a flashback.

He flashes back to when he first met Artemis and Minerva.

Noble sees Artemis and Minerva talking to each other.

Noble goes over to them and introduces himself and holds out his hand

They both shake his hand and introduce themselves also

They start talking to one another then an announcement on the loudspeaker tells Noble,

Artemis and Minerva to head to the Team Combat Training Room.

They walk there together and get their orders

They are told to work as a team in order to navigate the course and eliminate all enemies as
quick as possible

They pick up guns with paint inside of them and start the course

All three of them run in and take cover behind some sand bags because of incoming fire

Noble acts as Team Leader

Noble: Ok Minerva flank left and Artemis with me.

Minerva and Artemis: Rog.

Artemis and Noble move up the course while Minerva moves up the left side of the course and fires at one of the exercise volunteers

Minerva hits one of the volunteers in the shoulder and he signals he’s been hit

Noble and Artemis provide cover fire so Minerva can advance

Minerva gets behind their enemies and shoots them letting them complete the course in 5:20:00

Noble, Minerva and Artemis walk off the course and congratulate each other

(Noble Leaves Flashback)

He smiles then leaves out of their room and goes outside to patrol their perimeter

He comes back after 20 minutes and checks in Athena

He finds she’s still sleeping

He goes to the bed and puts a blanket on top of her

After that he suddenly leaves the room, leans against a wall, slides down and cries to himself a little

Noble: What have I done?

After 3 minutes he pulls himself together

He starts looking around for a military ration

He finds some and makes one for himself, Athena, Juno, Minerva and Artemis for when they wake up

After about an hour Athena wakes up, walks out of the room her and Noble shared and sees
Noble sitting in their kitchen area.

She’s still naked and Noble tries to look at her but he can’t

She walks up to him, kisses him on the cheek

He pushes away a little bit

Athena: What’s wrong?

He looks down

Noble: I have destroyed you.

Athena: How?

Noble: What happened last night shouldn’t have happened.

Athena: Don’t worry about it.

Noble: No you don’t get it. Because of that I have gotten you pregnant.

Noble starts to cry again

Athena hugs him and kisses him on the cheek again

Athena: Shhhhh. Don’t worry I knew this would happen.

Noble looks up at her

Noble: What?

Athena: I wanted it to happen. Of course the pregnancy thing was unforeseen but it happened.

Athena walks back into the room and grabs a pair of panties, a bra and a t-shirt

She puts them on and comes back out

Noble: I’m so so sorry.

Athena: Shhhhh. Like I said don’t worry about it. It’ll be ok.

Noble stops crying

Noble: Are you sure?

Athena: Yes I’m positive.

Noble: OK.

Noble hugs her back

Suddenly Noble sees a strange figure approaching the safe house

Noble: Brit grab your gun.

Athena: Ok.

Noble goes outside and hides in some bushes

He sees a person approaching their house

Then he goes and tackles the person to the ground

He notices that the person is wearing a leg holster and a balaclava

Noble takes out his gun and points it at his head

Noble: Now if I remove your mask you won’t say a f*****g word?

The person nods yes

Noble takes off the balaclava and finds that it’s a South American Rebel he’s been hearing about

Noble picks him up and carries him to the safe house

Athena opens the door for him

They sit him down in a chair and tie him down to it

The rebel looks at Athena’s body

Rebel: (Wolf Whistle)

Athena takes the stock off of her MP5 and hits him over the head with it

Noble: I could have done that but ok.

Athena shrugs her shoulders

Noble sees that she knocked him out

Noble: Great.

Athena: Sorry.

Noble: It’s ok we’ll just wait till he wakes back up.

Artemis, Juno and Minerva wake up and see the situation

Juno: So. What in the f**k just happened?

Athena: This f****r was creeping around our house and Yaz noticed he was a South
American Rebel, he carried him back then we tied him down and he looked at my body so I knocked the s**t out of him.

Athena shrugs her shoulders again

Athena: Simple

Minerva: Ooook.

Artemis: Well let me know when numbnuts here wakes up.

Noble: Fine.

(2 Hours Later)

The rebel wakes up

Noble: Hey look at her again and you’ll be a mongoloid after the punch I deliver to your f*****g skull.

Noble: Do we understand each other?

Rebel: Yes

Noble: Artemis! He’s up!

Artemis walks into the room with her fists wrapped

Noble: He’s all yours.

Artemis: Alright. I’m going to ask you some simple questions and if I get any bullshit answers well… im pretty sure you can figure it out. Do you understand?

Rebel: Yes.

Artemis: Ok. So what is your name?

Rebel: Julian Boffa.

Noble looks in disbelief

Noble: Wait! I know him!

Noble walks closer

Noble: Julian?

Julian squints his eyes

Julian: Yahzeya?

Noble: Dude it is you!

Julian: What the f**k?

Artemis: Dude. You know him?

Noble: Yeah I went to school with this guy.

Noble: Charlene untie him.

She does as he says

Julian stands up

Noble: My bad dude. I didn’t know who you were at first.

They do an old hand shake

Julian: It’s ok. Dude how long has it been?

Noble: At least 7 years dude.

Julian: Too much time lost.

Athena: Damn imagine if he wouldn’t have said his name.

Noble: Don’t remind me.

Artemis: (Laughs) Dude you got so lucky.

Noble: So dude what are you doing here?

Julian: I was sent out by my Resistance Force to investigate a group of people freefalling
from the sky yesterday.

Julian: Now I know it’s you guys. So I can cross this off my list today.

Noble: Resistance Force?

Julian: Yeah. You should know that ever since that downfall of the economy s***s been
fucked up everywhere.

Noble: Yeah I know about that but why is there a Resistance Force? I heard there’s just
nothing but regional governments here.

Julian: Well as you can imagine, not everybody is going to be happy with what these
governments are trying to do even though there’s hardly nothing left to rebuild.

Noble: Well what are they trying to do?

Julian: Simple. Rebuild.

Noble: Then why is there a Resistance Force?

Julian: Not every government here wants to rebuild the right way. Some have resorted to
undermining tactics such as destroying other governments.

Noble: I see.

Julian: So what are you doing here?

Noble: Well as you know, our home is damn there destroyed and our parents have trained us
to be Special Forces and stuff so for the past few years we have been all over the world
bringing peace back.

Julian: And may I ask how did you get the awesome weapons?

Noble: Well my dad is an old politician he still has money.

Julian: Well introduce me to your Delta Force a*****e.

Noble: Fine dipshit. (Points to Juno) That’s Cyara aka Juno. (Points to Athena) That’s
Brittany aka Athena. Remember all because you’re my friend doesn’t mean I don’t go back
on my word I will knock the s**t out of you if you look at her like that again.

Julian: Ok f**k.

Noble: (Points to Minerva) that’s Allison aka Minerva and (Points to Artemis) that’s Charlene
aka Artemis the woman that almost beat you to s**t.

Julian: I see. Nice to meet you.

Squad: Same

Julian: So what’s your business here?

Noble: To destroy the governments here.

Julian: All of them or just the bad ones?

Noble: There was no specification.

Julian: I see.

Julian is about to say something but is interrupted by a call from Rep. Jaramillo

Rep. Jaramillo starts to talk to the squad

Noble: Hold that thought Julian.

Rep. Jaramillo: Ok your first target is to destroy a government about half a mile north from
you.

Noble: Ok roger.

Noble: Ok Julian what were you about to say?

Julian: You should help us.

Noble: I’ll see once this is over.

Julian: Alright. If you need me just call me. (Hands Noble a Cell Phone)

Noble: Ok.

Julian leaves

Noble: Alright guys lets head north grab your gear.

Noble walks towards Athena

Noble: So it was nice seeing him again.

Athena: If push comes to shove will you kill him if necessary?

Noble: I can’t he’s an old friend, unless he poses a real serious threat to our mission.

Athena: Ok.

Noble: Still even then I doubt I could do it.

Athena: Well only time will tell.

The squad suits up and starts their journey north
