Weeping Eyes

Weeping Eyes

A Poem by Kiara

The vacant look in her ocean eyes

Gazing up at star-speckled skies…

She sings,

But will never weep.

She closes her eyes,

But never finds sleep.

The vacant look in her lover’s eyes,

Star-speckled night skies…

His eyes are open,

But he forever sleeps.

He never sings,

But never weeps.

Nice. The vacant look in her ocean eyes-is a great opener and pulls you right in to the poem. Wonderful job!
