~ There Where the Trees Danced

Yes  finally ...

There was light, after days of darkness

An early morning sun, smiled

The fog became a soft cotton blanket

The trees awoke with every sparkling

Slow movements, and limbs

The time delay in all presence

There was more oxygen, we survived

Did we? awakened from a dark wandering

Without gravity, or am I dreaming?

The trees seem to dance, without roots

I wonder where we are, where are we?

                        In mind? or reality?

There Where the Trees Danced

I felt your hand in mine...

This one flows with such harmony, and the imagery here is profoundly beautiful. "The trees awoke with every sparkling" is such a tender line, each couplet is sublime and visually tasteful. Each couplet is as artistically satisfying as the one preceding it, although I would have liked to see perhaps one more addition, it seemed to end so abruptly. But this was utopia in words. Very rhythmic and lovely. Great write.

Ah yes, feel free to my friend... glad the music could touch you!
I love the layout of your words. It just adds to the playful way the trees dance care free and light. I can imagine myself in this mysterious place, and perhaps, a time or two I was there. Enchanting poem!

Your poem is simply breathtaking. The beauty in it feels magical and ancient. I feel that I am peering into a scene never before witnessed by outsiders. To dance without roots, to be free, to live. Your words dance into my heart and echo in my mind.

the first stanza made me thought of my fav song of florence + the machine... "its always the darkess before the dawn" ~ a possitive outcome after the dark period, will always brings a new dawn for a start of a new day... the second stanza made me think of the amazing sight of a foggy mornings, a soft breeze of cold mornings... an awakening of the soul... the third stanza made me feel the slow growth of the everyday us, the comparison of the tree to us is very much the same in terms of how we grow as a person and the tree as it blooms it wonderful branches and leaves... the fourth stanza made me realized something about these dark wonderings... on how the three are slowly dying... in our own very hands... how sad... the fifth stanza made me daydream about the days where i walk in nature's soft breeze... a beautiful dance of each branches... the soft whisper of the leaves swaying as if its part of the winds rhythm... the sixth stanza made me live in the fantasy of my thoughts... on how we swim in reality and in our thoughts... dreaming... the last stanza made me smile all the way to my eye..lol... joking... but it made me smile as the trees dance in your words...

amazing one dearest friend...

Beautiful images in your words, as ever Elisa. Coming out of darkness into a surreal beauty, not knowing where you are, but knowing that hand is there for you. Bravo.
