on another challenge quest from Noel HC this time

the mouse
was KING
of all he surveyed
quick and clever
he bamboozled
the population
with words
like libation
with never
a thought
for the poor
bedraggled masses.
He only wanted
his cheese
he was sure
like Marie
the rest could
have cake
he only knew
how to take take take

till one day, quite
unexpectedly,
kitty had an epiphany
and remembered
she wasn't a
vegetarian.

OK, here is my contest suggestion for you KLG.
I need a poem, the rhyme scheme shall be AB, AB, ... ad infinitum.
The end of all A shall be a word that rhymes with orange, the end of all B shall be a word that rhymes with purple. Stumped yet? What is my prize? : )
