Coincidental incidences

Coincidental incidences

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

sometimes life is just funny

"
Logic confounded
by the heart's
coincidental incidences --

thought I knew you when,
was it somehow
in another life?

            i was --

                     searching for you,
                     although I didn't know it,
                     at the time.

fated meeting,
last minute decision,
threw caution out the door.

an appointment scratched out,
person A becomes person B,
person U.

                         I could have left.
                         instead,
                         I kissed you.

and that one set
of coincidental incidences,
twisted my heart's history.

Just like losing something, and finding it in the last place you would think you would find it.
Love the Blake song BTW, he has been the background to many fond memories.
