A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

things are as they are for a reason

"
the reasons
cease to matter,
passing through
the changing of
the seasons.

with you
around you
beside you --

you offer
a wave,
a smile --

but what is
stopping you,
from bringing me
into your world?

and what are
you willing to lose,
to keep yourself
free?

Thanks very much. :)
It's hard, orbiting someone's world when you'd rather be inhabiting it...
I like this one.

Thank you very much, glad you popped by.
The question posed requires the wisdom of Solomon and the patience of Job to answer. " what are
you willing to lose?" indeed.

Yes it is a question isn't it, and could be applied to many situations.:)
Oh, a very telling question....one that many people refuse to answer. Some would rather stay in a bad relationship than give up their fancy lifestyle. It's quite sad actually. A great unrequited love sort of poem. Lydi**

Ah yes, I like the way you see this poem Lydi. So clever.
This smacks of unrequited love. Of someone willing to give all but the focuss of her attention will not reciprocate. Flowing and heartfelt.
