Sun-kissed water is hard to beat. There aren’t many things that give me that same feeling of awe bubbling over.

The lovely thing about a river is the way you can feel that sense of primitive oneness with the natural world. If you’re in the right spot and there is more nature than human symbol.

A lovely, peaceful poem, Chris.

I feel like I am sitting on a patio overlooking the river, with a breakfast set and cup of coffee, a cool breeze on my face with the warmth of that blush pink sunrise on my face.

There's nothing wrong with a blushing sunrise's warm glow reflecting in a river
when kisses are served for breakfast.

Good job, Christine!

I can't disagree with you there :)
Very pretty. My favorite sky is at sunset when its canvas is powdered blue with strokes of pink, purple, orange, and gold. Kisses for the heart.
