when rays of sun break through at dawn

when song birds stir the saddest hearts

a page is turned another morn

dear Gaia i am full of praise

for you who soothes each weary soul

for you who toils to ease where life

has left the spirit less than whole

inspire in all a sense of calm

apply with love your healing balm

The Greek Gods somehow make a poem more meaningful in my mind. Each dawn is an opportunity to have a good day...to change things that were not so good yesterday.
