Oh ya. Im digging this all day. Are we a slave or a leader of love? Depending on the individual maybe it doesn't matter as long as you enjoy it. The title is two words classic. Hell ya Jacob.

thank you for your kind words, duff,
j.
I come here after quite some time, only to find this piece by you. Precise and very much bitter sweet. Love renders us dumb at some points, I guess...

Love isn't easy, is it? If we listened too much to the poets, alas us? what is there to really believe?
When it is there and true the heart soars to unforeseen heights when it is lost the depths of Hell has no bottom.

Take care my friend - Dave

so true...thank you, Dave,

Maybe true love has no errand. Maybe it just wants to be recognized.

that's definitely a thought...thank you, John,

Love comes with conditions Jacob, and can be switched on/off depending on each persons expectations being fulfilled,or not meeting the mark. People find love many times over and then apply the same conditions. It's a kind of fallacy check list that must be met. enjoyed the read. Phill.

Sometimes these errands don’t pay well. On love’s terms it’s hard to be objective. A fine write.

Oh hell yeah! I've drifted so far from my original concept of "love", this is how it often looks & feels! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

absolutely!
I just think Cupid is batshit crazy and extremely near sighted at times. Love happens or it doesn't I guess, but when he hits his mark, wow, it can really hurt or really be very amazing yes?
