I'll Kill you with this Spoon

I'll Kill you with this Spoon

A Poem by Last Lying Look

If you ever come at me again with that knife

I’ll kill you with this spoon

I wouldn’t start making plans

Because I’m sure that day will come soon

You cut me with that

I’ll surely pop your eye out

So let’s just not try it

Because I don’t want to see you sit and pout

You even touch me once

I’m going to shove this down your throat

So baby lets not go there

Because I’m not ready to get my coat

If you ever come at me again with that knife

I’ll kill you with this spoon

So I wouldn’t start making plans

Because I’m sure that day will come soon

Last Lying Look
This one makes me a laugh a little. The thought of killing someone with a spoon is quite ridiculous.

I really liked the repetition of my favourite stanza in this particular poem

"If you ever come at me again with that knife

I’ll kill you with this spoon

So I wouldn’t start making plans

Because I’m sure that day will come soon"

& the fact that I know exactly what it's about makes it all the more enjoyable :)
All in all, very powerful & emotional piece. Props to you McTwitch :) :P

Maybe not so ridiculous! The idea behind the poem is quite original and can be interpreted in several ways, one of which is dark humor.

To be quite frankly with you... Killing someone with a spoon is not ridiculous at all, because getting stabbed by a knife (or a fork) sure, they may hurt, but with a spoon, it hurt even worse, because I've seen those kind of crazy madness and it's for real...

AnYwAy, this piece sure made me laugh my a*s off, not only it's plain and simple, but really cute... Would love to see the full length version of it, because I'm pretty sure that it would make a real great dark and goth "black comedy" movie...

On the other hand, it's all still great tho...

i've seen abuse an' death comes by only hand
why not a spoon not so ridiculous as you think
when a mire 5' 2 girl can take out a 200 # man

i love the poems that the underdog takes control
you dont know who is trained in martial arts
where a blow from most unlikely killer kills

i like this poem. witty & darkly charming. "You even touch me once I'm going to shove this down your throat
So baby lets not go there Because I'm not ready to get my coat" this has got some angry wicked undertones in it that i like. good write.
