~Pausing on a sigh

I paused in your disposition,

an excerpt of my sentiment's

timely extracted passages

affection's cadenced inclinations

complexion's blush'd bias tendencies

dusky clouds amidst delectation's reflections

wildflowers breath at the nape of my neck

scent'd of twilight's mysteries & amber brandy

a calm filled of shivers kind sympathy and tea

parched of wither'd revered druthers, 

begotten heavy sighs of never forgotten harmony

etch'd within scorched reminiscence's memoirs

rewritten script'd blossomed desires on dusty shelves

smoldering in long ago places of nightfall's rhythm 

haunting wakeful hours of dreams without rhyme

wistful for the dance 'tween spaces of sublimity's poesy

Well the song is one of my newest favorites.....I absolutely love it!! Play it on youtube all the time. And your poem sighed within my heart. Those sweetest moments may be tucked away on shelves or in other places but it only takes a few words to draw them forward in our minds. So we may relive them with the softest sighs. xo
