`once in a twilight glean‏ing ~

A Poem by Frieda P

Your eyes a familiar vision of silent prayer ~
once in a redemption's twilight glean
ghostly shadow's communing in reality
movement of gravity touching in reverse
anamnesis in ascension's awareness
       unburdened of earthly nuances
essence of a spirit's reborn Platonism
moments flood a flawed legacy
   floating above Aurora's freedom
flowing on ethereal dimension’s wings
whispers of familial souls hush the air
resurrected sounds on high of angel’s rush
awakened in sensibility's sentimentality
herein lies the beauty of a new beginning
songs that live on in a token heart's dream

Oh i look forward for this invitations as the anticipation of what will it be is palpable. And today an offering of the realms of the transitory, of the change I think the ondines comes to mind as the lines go on sharing with us not only are they responsible for the physicality of winds but also for the deliverance of wisdom through the ages. The language is soft yet very descriptive, the reference not all that intricate as I was able to find relationships a plenty. And the final paragrah that let's us know that the value of this experiences needs treasuring and appreciated in the most tender of ways.

Oh so tender.

Thankyou very much Frieda.

It is always a pleasure

That's an amazing opening line - and I loved the whole poem. Nice alliteration throughout and stunning imagery, make for a heartwarming romance. Penny :)

The descriptive masterpiece, I could visualize everything in my head while reading this. These words are like a song... if anyone read this twice or thrice they can actually hymn this.

' anamnesis in ascension's awareness ' ; What an amazing line and indeed, although no physical presence, the spirit remains, strong, resilient and ever present!

Comforting and enlightening Frieda, kudos once more to your captivating poetry !

Frieda, you have penned another masterpiece...
So many beautiful lines - it is impossible to pick my fav - but what I enjoyed most is the feeling of your words...so serene, so beautiful...and the music adds to it perfectly.
One of my favorites by you.

Frieda you certainly have a gift when it comes to putting the right music to a piece. This piece was flawless, the rhythm, the tone and just the make up of this piece was just superb.

Hi Freda,
I was a little disappointed. I found this a bit hard to read. The lack of punctuation started to get my tension up. Your use of words is superb and I liked the way you use following words with the same first letter, something that a lot of people don't think about doing. But it definitely lost a lot of attraction for me because of the non punctuation.
Hey I'm old school, and English.
Regards.

such hushed, magical enchantment that whispers in beckoning ways to your soul to float and dance with the melody and beauty in the imagery.. the lyrical melody of your words mixed with the music is delightful and delicious.. I love the feel, the tone, the mood, and the deliverance of this in its entirety....one of my favorites... loved it!!

You blow me away:)

I loved that you used a Halo 2 song, my brother would be so tickled by this. =P

You weave such beautiful metaphors so tightly, they are always a pleasure to take in. I get the sense of peace in this one, but also death, so possibly someone being ushered into Heaven or being given a new life. I could be completely off, but that is the image I am getting. Great write!
