This poem gave me insight into my own writing. Two of my favorite characters are friends when they are very young, but a "season" of their lives comes when they grow into lovers as well. Your words are appropriate for the hesitant time when they gradually discover this. Your description of blue eyes and hazel eyes is even appropriate! But my take on the subject is prosaic; yours finds expression in insightful and well expressed poetry. Exquisite!

I feel the cycles of life you portrait in this amazing piece you wrote. You intertwined nature, and our emotional connections with everything .... the truth is we are one with nature, woven and return to the same place.

Awe inspiring and magical like the seasons. We grow in Nature within the seasons unfolding in love and awareness. Rain checks on the soil that needs refreshment and sprouting of its harvest. Emotions sway in and over the horizon. Excellent write and rendering.

Beautifully written! It's so easy to neglect or even forget about nature, but we're all apart of it. We are reflected in each other.

Kathy,
The fact that we as humans are part of the landscape and the earth is highlighted here in your poem. Nature's cycles and vicissitudes are reflected in our lives and It's great to see that expressed in verse. There is something bigger than us that we are nevertheless a part of, and which we participate in. I wonder what it is ?

I do think that our need for nature and freedom within environment are a clue. Why do people desire peace? I think this is a imprint of being created by a great and mighty God. Who just loves us. I truly enjoyed your review. It is in questioning and pondering that humanity is shown.

The moment life starts.
The continuing journey as life sets its course.
At times the parallels are the same.
But change is what it is.
Everyone has a destiny.
But sometimes that destiny isn't the chosen one.

We all move and change within our life processes together. I like to think that we can all learn from each other. I like your line above; "At times the parallels are the same." It's nice when the road is shared midst tempests and howling winds of days, weeks years. Thanks so much for your personal and thoughtful words. I will never grow tired of hearing people's personal input; like yours.
